In our review, we present to you the Acer Nitro 5 (AN517-54) laptop, which belongs to the gaming line, having on board a Core i7 11800H processor, 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz memory and a GEFORCE RTX 3070 video card with 8 gigabytes of video memory.

APPEARANCE |
The laptop is quite compact and elegant. On the sides we have one usb 2.0, two usb 3.0, one usb type c and one HDMI. The laptop’s power supply is connected from the rear. There is also a backlit keyboard and a large 17,3-inch QuadHD screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The laptop power supply has a power of 230 W and a voltage of 19,5 Volts.

The graphics subsystem consists of 2 video cards

As we can see, the game is playable in almost all different screen sizes at maximum settings. 60 frames can be obtained at a resolution of 1920×1080 with activated DLSS technology.
Horizon Zero Dawn |

As we can see, the game Resident Evil Village does not work correctly and in certain places the processor frequency is noticeably reduced, which leads to a loss of performance. But the frame rate is still acceptable in all modes.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human |

Well, here in the native resolution and ray tracing enabled we can play without any problems. At low screen resolutions, minor problems with processor performance are observed.
CONCLUSION |
Well, my impressions of the Acer Nitro 5 (AN517-54) laptop are purely positive – it is thin, light, technologically advanced and very productive. With a native maximum resolution of 2560×1440, it will be able to cope with all new gaming titles at maximum graphics settings without any problems. Also, DLSS technology will allow you to play at fixed “console” 30 FPS and 40 FPS on 120 Hz TVs or monitors with VRR, even in 4K. Among the minuses, we can note the very “hot” nature of the laptop and its price.
