Official description of the game 

Arkham. A place where peals of inhuman, heartbreaking laughter roll through dark, terrifying corridors. Threats, curses and malicious chuckles accompany the guards and doctors during their rounds. Despair is an inescapable companion of everyone who is not lucky enough to be in these terrible walls. The most terrible and disgusting villains live here, whose twisted consciousness pushes them to commit incredible crimes. From their actions, the huge Gotham City was exhausted and shuddered, until Batman came to the rescue of the city lying in the eternal twilight. But even within the walls of this psychiatric hospital, plans for revenge on the legendary hero are ripening. In an effort to destroy the sworn enemy, the perverted, monstrously distorted minds of criminal geniuses united. The trap is set, the victim comes to the door, but will the bat fall into the carefully prepared snares?

All of us many years ago for the first time seeing a picture about Batman wanted to be in a bat mask and terrify the so-called dregs of society. The creators of the game decided to give us a gift - they turned our dreams into reality. From the very beginning, we are thrown into the thick of things, giving us the opportunity to crush enemies right and left. The game is set very high quality, its plot can be the envy of any modern blockbuster. It should also be noted the excellent voice acting that allows you to comfortably immerse yourself in the gameplay.

 

 

Games of this quality do not come out every day and you can’t pass them by in any case.

 Review: Game Graphics

 The game graphics are based on the unreal engine 3, of course it is already worn out to holes, but the developers were able to squeeze the maximum out of it. Gorgeous detailing of the scenery, high-class character models, diverse environments - all this allows you to plunge headlong into the adventures of your favorite character. Of course, I would like an open game world and large territories, but this would most likely lead to greater resource dependence, and as a result, a decrease in the graphic beauties of the game itself - so we must pay tribute to what we have, the developers did their best

 

 

Congratulations to all owners of Ge Force video cards - the game has support for NVIDIA PhysX. Of course, it is not implemented in all aspects of the game, not all elements of the game are built on this physical model, but it's still nice to realize that the list of games that support NVIDIA PhysX continues to expand. 

Review: Game resource intensive

 The performance of the game, if you don't want to see NVIDIA PhysX in action, is at a quite acceptable level, but if you want to fully enjoy the game at the highest physics settings, then even the most advanced single-chip card is not enough, so you can't do without a second card to speed up physics. In general, the game requires a dual-core processor of the Core 2 Duo 2.4 level and about 2 gigabytes of RAM.

 

 

For owners of Radeon cards, PhysX technology in action can only be seen at medium settings with the most advanced quad-core processor - and even then it will not be enough.

 

All video cards were tested at maximum graphics quality. Since Radeon video cards do not support anti-aliasing in Batman: Arkham Asylum, we did not use it for generalized tests. Also, for generalized tests, we took the physics parameter as disabled, since Radeon cards, again, do not support it. We tested video cards of the lower price segment at a resolution of 1024x768, we tested video cards of the middle price range at a resolution of 1280x1024, and video cards of the upper price range were tested at a resolution of 1680x1050. More than half of the video cards of the lower range could not provide an acceptable fps level, but still the rest demonstrates good speed performance. Testing at maximum quality settings Midle End at a resolution of 1280x1024

 

 

Owners of middle-class video cards should have practically no problems, with the exception of high resolutions.

Next, we tested the performance of Nvidia accelerators with all available graphics settings activated. We tested mid-range and high-end video cards from Nvidia with PhysX enabled and AA16Q anti-aliasing enabled.

In general, owners of video cards 8800GTX and higher will be able to appreciate all the charms of the game, but only on condition that they have more than 512 MB of video memory on board. Higher resolutions will require more powerful graphics cards or a second graphics card as a physical accelerator for smooth gameplay.
