Battlefield_Bad_Company_2_Beta_2

The use of new types of vehicles, such as an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and a transport helicopter UH-60, allows you to use unique tactics in a collective game. Ample opportunities for modification of equipment guarantee you an unforgettable experience!
Tactical destruction is taken to a new level thanks to the use of the new DICE software core - "Frostbite". Players can now destroy entire buildings or create their own weapon emplacements by punching holes in walls, making every battle truly unique.

By uniting in squads of 4 people, you can take part in the battles of two team modes and get unique rewards and achievements for this. To achieve unconditional superiority over the enemy, use unique gadgets in battle, such as a magnetic beacon for firing from a grenade launcher.

The reward for successful combat operations are numerous badges, stars and orders that contribute to obtaining one of the 50 new titles.
The ability to use modifications significantly expands the number of available sets of equipment, weapons and military equipment. With 4
unique character classes, 46 weapons, 15 gadgets, 13 specializations and over 15,000 equipment options, players can create their own fighting style.

All this guarantees players an exciting and unpredictable course of battles, unique for this genre.

Battlefield Bad Company 2™ is the best that the online action genre has to offer!

Overview: Playability

EA made a real stir around Battlefield: Bad Company 2 even before the release of the game itself. It can be seen that she swung to kill two birds with one stone - to return the crown of leadership among the FPS shooter genre and make the most successful online shooter of all time. We will learn about the first only with the release of the full version of this project. Now we can only rely on the released multiplayer beta.

So what did EA bring us in terms of multiplayer? The first thing that catches your eye is a huge game map with a bunch of locations and structures. It's a pleasure to run around here, even though in beta it's only one network card. A very realistic interactive world, the destructibility of which is truly impressive. I am also pleased with the quantity and quality of the presented equipment. Well, what else can you add - it is a network shooter in Africa network. Two opposing sides, one winner.

We bring to your attention to evaluate a part of the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 beta multiplayer video , where you can see for yourself the quality of this product:

Old-timers of network battles will feel here like a fish in water and will not give any chance to "green" multiplayer recruits. So we advise beginners to fill their hands, because in more than a month the full game version will be available - and there it will be where to roam ...

Review: Game Graphics

The graphics in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 BETA turned out to be on top, but to be honest, we expected a little better. The special effects as well as the detailing of the buildings were just on top. But the detailing of the units is a little limp, as well as the secondary environment. She never managed to surpass the beauty of the durable Crysis. The picture looks more than decent, but nothing super-realistic.

We could not find the settings for switching in the graphical menu between DirectX 9, DirectX 10 and DirectX 11. Judging by the color of Fraps, the game used DirectX 10 on all tested video cards (maybe DirectX 11 is also used in the game, but we could not distinguish its effects, if we find traces of its presence, we will definitely update our review). And they coped with their task, to put it mildly, with difficulty, and if we imagined tasselation in action in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, it’s hard to even imagine what kind of FPS drawdown we will get.

Battlefield_Bad_Company_2_Beta_8

The main feature of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 lies in something else - the almost complete destructibility of the game world, which can reach a mind-blowing value of 90%! The destruction is so massive and bewitching that they will manage to send you to the other world while you enjoy the local Armageddon.

Say what you like, but the developers did their best - the picture in the game is quite decent, so we are waiting for the release of the full version, in which we hope manual switching of DirectX versions will be carried out.

Review: Game resource intensive

For Battlefield: Bad Company 2 BETA, you will need a strong Core 2 Quad 3.0 GHz or Phenom II x4 925 2.8 GHz processor and 2 gigabytes of RAM . The game has a very complex physical model, which can become a weak point of your CPU. But the video card will also require incredible efforts. So an upgrade for this game will be inevitable for most users.

All video cards were tested at the maximum graphics quality by the Fraps program in the most resource-intensive part of the game .

Our video cards are tested in general at all resolutions and you can evaluate how your video card behaves relative to other modern solutions in almost all gaming resolutions. All video cards were tested at the maximum quality of graphics settings using AA8X anti-aliasing and AF16X anisotropic filtering.

And what are we seeing? To ensure a normal FPS with a minimum frame drop of up to 25 frames per second, you will need at least a Radeon HD 4870 or GeForce GTX260 ... For full HD resolutions, even the power of the modern single-chip flagship Nvidia GTX 285 can sometimes be insufficient. And only happy owners of Radeon HD 5850 and Radeon HD 5870 will be able to sleep peacefully - they will not have any brakes...
