Released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.1 brings a number of significant improvements and fixes. One of the most notable additions was the addition of the subway to Night City, solving a glitch that prevented the main character, V, from using this mode of transport. Players can now travel to 19 stations across five different lines, using both fast travel and views of the city from the train window. This change greatly simplifies movement around the game world and adds a new level of realism to the virtual city.

In addition, the update gave players the ability to invite characters to their apartments on dates, which opens up new aspects of interaction with characters and development of storylines. Now the radio is available while walking around the city or riding the subway, which adds atmosphere to the gameplay. The addition of regular racing events also expands the entertainment options in Night City, allowing players to test their driving skills and earn cash prizes.

An important aspect of the patch was improving accessibility. Functions have been added to the game to increase the font size of interface texts, which makes the game more comfortable for people with visual impairments. It is also possible to disable the timer for hacking the protocol, which reduces the level of stress when performing this task. Regarding quests and the open world, gangs will now pursue V if he does not leave witnesses after completing certain orders and tasks. The update also affected the Phantom Freedom expansion. Bugs related to the lack of enemies from organized crime groups and the inability to obtain some achievements have been fixed. Iconic weapons that were previously only available under certain conditions are also now available. These changes make the expansion more enjoyable and remove obstacles that may have been frustrating for players.

In the gameplay area, combat with key characters has been refined and new implants have been added, increasing the variety of strategies and playstyles. Changes to implants affect their characteristics, which requires players to rethink their tactics and approaches to combat. These updates improve the dynamics and variety of gameplay.

In addition, the balance of some abilities and weapons has been changed, which introduces new elements into the strategy and tactics of combat. These changes are aimed at creating a more balanced and interesting combat experience.

Particular attention has been paid to improving responsiveness and smooth handling when moving. V can now accelerate after shooting without delay, and various bugs related to acceleration and dodging have been fixed. These improvements make character control more intuitive and comfortable, increasing the overall enjoyment of the game.

Overall, Cyberpunk 2077's 2.1 update has greatly improved the gameplay experience, making it deeper, more varied, and more accessible to a wider range of players. Testing of video memory consumed by the game was carried out by  MSI Afterburner. The indicator was based on results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA at resolutions of  1920x1080, 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 with various anti-aliasing settings. By default, the graph displays the most current solutions. Other video cards are added and removed from the chart at the request of the reader.
