Released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.1 brings a number of significant improvements and fixes. One of the most notable additions was the addition of the subway to Night City, solving a glitch that prevented the main character, V, from using this mode of transport. Players can now travel to 19 stations across five different lines, using both fast travel and views of the city from the train window. Iconic weapons that were previously only available under certain conditions are also now available. These changes make the expansion more enjoyable and remove obstacles that may have been frustrating for players.
In the gameplay area, combat with key characters has been refined and new implants have been added, increasing the variety of strategies and playstyles. Changes to implants affect their characteristics, which requires players to rethink their tactics and approaches to combat. These updates improve the dynamics and variety of gameplay.
In addition, the balance of some abilities and weapons has been changed, which introduces new elements into the strategy and tactics of combat. These changes are aimed at creating a more balanced and interesting combat experience.
Particular attention has been paid to improving responsiveness and smooth handling when moving. V can now accelerate after shooting without delay, and various bugs related to acceleration and dodging have been fixed.
