Official description of the game

More than 2000 years ago, the forces of good and evil fought for the artifact Mirror of Smoke, which has tremendous power, allowing you to change day and night or plunge the whole world into darkness forever. Meanwhile, the fearless leader of the Army of Light, Totek, took possession of the great power of the artifact and banished the evil spirit Xanxolt from this world. Totek buried himself with a mirror in the Temple of Light to protect the artifact from the forces of evil. But after 2000 years, Lara Croft went to the mountains of Central America in search of a long-lost Temple. The mercenaries, having stolen the artifact, allowed Xanxolt to return to this world, for which they paid with their lives. Totek, blaming Lara for what happened, decides to cooperate with her in order to return the Mirror. If the artifact does not return to the forces of Light, Xanxolt uses the mirror's power to plunge the world into eternal darkness.

Overview: Playability

The series of games about Lara Croft has already begun to fade and fade significantly, so the developer had to take drastic measures to return at least a drop of its former glory to its franchise. The new concept of the game has received an isometric view, so everyone will have to get used to seeing Lara Croft in a completely new perspective, having lost the opportunity to admire her unsurpassed beauties up close.

The plot in the game is a little naive and, coupled with the non-original dialogue system, only remotely allows you to get to the heart of the matter. But this shortcoming pales in comparison to the addictive gameplay, whirlwind action and superbly constructed puzzles. Another plus of the game is the possibility of co-op, thanks to which you can get a completely new experience from the game and diversify the gameplay a little more.

 Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light from the gameplay side showed itself from a very high-quality side, far ahead of its recent predecessors, so all fans of the Tomb Raider series will get a lot of pleasure from getting to know this game. 

Review: Game Graphics

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is based on   the game engine used in   Tomb Raider: Underworld, and includes many modern visuals and advanced physics. Of course, it cannot be said that the graphics look just great, but for games made in an isometric style, they are perhaps one of the best.

 A considerable variety of graphic settings also speaks of the conscientiousness of the developers in relation to the PC version. Game locations and characters are made at a very decent level, although the developers should be reprimanded - some enemy models are made prettier than Lara Croft herself.

Our video cards are tested in general at all resolutions, and you can evaluate how your video card behaves relative to other modern solutions in almost all gaming resolutions. The quality of anti-aliasing was set to the maximum allowed by Radeon video cards, namely 8X.
