Project development

The game was announced at the Nacon Connect 2021 event in July 2021 and immediately attracted interest from fans of the franchise. In July 2022, the developers presented the gameplay of the game, which allowed fans to see what the world of the future of Detroit looks like and what kind of combat capabilities RoboCop has.

On March 10, 2023, the game was announced for release on Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, which added even more excitement to the game's anticipation among players and fans of the RoboCop franchise. Later, on June 5 of the same year, the developers revealed some additional plot details and technical aspects of the game, which only increased interest in the project.

Testing of video memory consumed by the game was carried out by  MSI Afterburner. The indicator was based on results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA at resolutions of  1920x1080, 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 with various anti-aliasing settings. By default, the graph displays the most current solutions. Other video cards are added and removed from the chart at the request of the reader.
