Review: Playability
“All Wheel Drive 3” will give you the opportunity to take part in various international off-road competitions that have never before been reflected in a computer game, including the Petronas Suvium Silverstone Challenge, taking place in Thailand, and the largest raid in Russia, the Ladoga Trophy. Virtual sports SUVs – among them, of course, the legendary UAZ – are recreated taking into account the technical features of real prototypes. Each car represents a specific class, intended for one or another type of competition.
There are not many types of technology, but it is quite enough for this type of game. By conquering tracks of varying difficulty, players will be able not only to control the speed and direction of the car, but also, if necessary, block the center and cross-axle differentials, use a winch, lower gear, change the tire pressure – in general, use special means to overcome off-road conditions.
We invite you to evaluate part of the game walkthrough “Full Drive 3”, where you can see for yourself the quality of this product:
“Full Drive 3” does not belong to the arcade category and, like no other, represents the genre of sports simulators, with all the hardships of racing life, which can frighten and disappoint “unprepared” players. Therefore, before purchasing the game, you should familiarize yourself with the demo version, which fully displays all the delights of virtual gameplay.
Review: Graphics
The graphics of “Full Drive 3” are based on the now newfangled Unreal Engine 3 technology, which cannot be said to be good, but does not look quite respectable in this genre. The color contrast is very striking, which somewhat spoils the impressions of this game, showing us the game world in a somewhat “childish” light…
But still, the capabilities of Unreal Engine 3 cannot be underestimated. Thanks to his efforts, depending on the driver’s actions in a given situation, the car can get stuck in the mud, skid or skid. And it looks really realistic…
Whatever one may say, the domestic product “Full Drive 3” is not up to par with its foreign competitors in terms of playability or graphics. Next, we move directly to the performance tests of video cards.
Review: Resource-intensive game
For “All Wheel Drive 3” you will need a configuration quite typical for Unreal Engine 3, namely a Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz processor or an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200 2.6 GHz and 2 gigabytes of RAM.

All video cards were tested at maximum graphics quality by the Fraps program in the most resource-intensive part of the game. Less productive video cards up to the level GeForce GTS 250 and Radeon HD 4830 tested based on the Core 2 Quad Q9550 processor, and more productive ones based on Core™ i7 processors.
Our video cards are tested generally in all different screen sizes, and you can evaluate how your video card behaves relative to other modern solutions in almost all different gaming screen sizes.
Testing at maximum quality settings 1024×768
So, at a resolution of 1024×768, the game will require video cards of the Radeon HD 3850 or GeForce 9600 GT level and higher. Only video cards Radeon HD 5750 or GeForce 8800 GTX and higher can be considered recommended for the game.
Testing at maximum quality settings 1280×1024
At a higher resolution of 1280×1024, players will already need to have video cards starting from the Radeon HD 4830 or GeForce 8800 GT level and higher. The optimal video cards for this resolution should be considered Radeon HD 4860 or GeForce GTX 260 and higher.
Testing at maximum quality settings 1680×1050
With a widescreen resolution of 1680×1050, the required minimum consists of video cards of the Radeon HD 4750 or GeForce 8800 GTX level. The recommended video cards that provide a minimum FPS of 25 frames are Radeon HD 4870 or GeForce GTX 260 and higher.
Testing at maximum quality settings 1920×1080
With a resolution of 1920×1080, players need to acquire video cards of the Radeon HD 5750 or GeForce GTX 260 level. The most optimal cards for “All Wheel Drive 3” should be considered video cards of the Radeon HD 4890 or GeForce GTX 280 level. Based on the purchase of video cards specifically for this game, then currently the Radeon HD 5830 or GeForce GTS 450 look most preferable.
Conclusion: “All Wheel Drive 3” is an amateur game that makes very serious demands on video accelerators. Before purchasing, we strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the demo version of this game.
