Official description of the game
The continuation of the acclaimed action movie Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which sold 14 million copies worldwide and was awarded the title of “Game of 2007” by most gaming publications. The action takes place several years after the events that occurred in the first part of the blockbuster. As part of a special counter-terrorism squad under the command of Captain John MacTavish, the player will take part in the most dangerous operations in various parts of the world: in the snow-capped mountains of Kazakhstan and the slums of Rio de Janeiro, in the sands of Afghanistan and even in the vast expanses of Russia. In breathtaking skirmishes and hand-to-hand combat with extremists, the fighters of the elite squad will use the latest weapons, equipment and equipment.
Features:
• New operations. A massive single player campaign that continues the events of the original game.
• Shoulder to shoulder. Co-op mode “Special Operations”, which presents a number of scenarios for two participants. As the fighters gain experience, all more complex missions will be revealed to them, both plot-related to the single-player campaign and completely independent.
• against each other. New multiplayer modes, as well as unique abilities and skills available only in online battles.
• At risk to life. Carrying out dangerous missions in extreme conditions: in snowy mountains, lifeless deserts and even under water, players will use all possible modern weapons, the latest equipment and equipment.
• Beautiful action. Spectacular dynamic shootouts and brutal hand-to-hand combat, as spectacular as episodes from the best Hollywood action films.
Review: Playability
So we waited and waited and finally waited…Infinity Ward has long promised, even last year, to present a game project that would have no equal in its content and scale. Already after sending the project to the workshops for printing, the developers themselves admitted that they had embodied a huge number of their ideas and fantasies into the game plot.
And at the stage of completing the development of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, they simply do not know what they can implement in the next part. But let’s hope that the developers’ imagination has not dried up and they will continue to delight us with first-class projects.
The gameplay of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set at such a high level that it is difficult to tear yourself away from the game from the very beginning to the end: the plot and scenes are very well delivered, a variety of game locations, spectacular shootouts and game events – all this is not even for a moment will make you doubt the high-quality execution of the project.
Unlike the previously released military simulators ARMA2 and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising The game actually conveys the impression of being present in combat and allows you to thoroughly enjoy the gameplay.
Review: Game Graphics
The game graphics in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 deserve only praise: very high-quality reproduced locations in different parts of the world, excellent detail, high accuracy of the visual effects of combat operations.
Compared to its predecessor, the game has an even higher quality picture and in some game moments it seems that it can compete on equal terms with Crysis itself.
I’m very pleased with the cinematic nature of what is happening and the life behavior of the game characters. Physical special effects also did not go overboard and quite truthfully convey to us the realism of what is happening.
Review: Resource-intensive game
We must pay tribute to the developers – despite the gorgeous special effects, the game has quite democratic system requirements: a dual-core processor of the Core 2 Duo level 2.4 GHz and a RAM capacity of 2 gigabytes. Video cards are capable of squeezing out an impressive number of frames that can go off scale over 100 FPS. But there are also places in the game where cards are capable of seriously giving up – it was precisely in this area that we conducted our testing.
All video cards were tested at maximum graphics quality. We tested video cards from the lower price segment at a resolution of 1024×768, video cards from the middle price range were tested at a resolution of 1280×1024, and video cards from the upper price range were tested at a resolution of 1680×1050.
Testing at maximum Low End quality settings at 1024×768 resolution
Testing at maximum quality settings Midle End at 1280×1024 resolution
Testing at maximum High End quality settings at 1680×1050 resolution
Here we see that throughout the entire game, players will be able to feel comfortable on almost all the video cards we tested. Nvidia is ahead, but by a small margin
Conclusion: The game, like the entire Call of Duty series, has once again raised the shooter genre to a new level of quality. The game is simply a must-play.
