The graphics card has been confirmed to come with three fans and a red and black design. The backlight  simulates a "devilish" look with a combination of red and orange colors. It remains to be seen whether these elements can be illuminated with other colors.

The graphics card pictured below is a limited edition, and it's not entirely clear what that means yet. Most likely, it will  have increased clock speeds relative to the "regular" Red Devil, additional features (eg backlight) or simply bundled with additional goodies.

The AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT is equipped with a Navi 21 GPU with 4608 stream processors and 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The MSRP for this card is $649, but the Red Devil will certainly cost more. It's unclear if PowerColor plans to release custom RX 6800 without XT and RX 6900XT, which will launch in December.

The Red Devil RX 6800 XT from PowerColor is expected to be released  next week if  rumors are to be believed  . To put it simply, these custom models won't arrive tomorrow along with the reference 6800XT, they have a separate launch date, possibly November 25th.

Two unreleased AMD Ryzen 5000U processors have been spotted on Geekbench. It looks like a laptop manufacturer called TIMI is currently evaluating AMD's new Ryzen series. Both processors, which can be found on the website, are allegedly based on Zen2 silicon, codenamed Lucienne. Rumors suggest that AMD may release an ultra-low power Ryzen series including the Zen3 (Cezanne) and Zen2 (Lucienne) APUs.

It looks like the Lucienne APUs may be more open to ODMs for testing (it's just a Renoir update after all) since the number of leaks involving the Zen3-based Cezanne-U hasn't been that huge.

The AMD Ryzen 7 5700U is an 8-core, 16-thread processor clocked at up to 4.3GHz. This APU is a major upgrade to the Renoir series as it includes SMT (multi-threading), clock speed is 200 MHz higher, and the compute unit is 1 GPU larger (only 8) than its predecessor.

The Ryzen 5 5500U, on the other hand, is a six-core APU that will also support SMT, but the maximum clock speed has not changed (4.0 GHz). However, it will be 1 compute unit more than its predecessor (4500U).

The AMD Ryzen 5000U series is expected to be unveiled at CES 2021. The Acer Aspire 5 laptop is already listed  on Amazon with an estimated shipping date of February 2021.

Demand for the GeForce RTX 30 series is still much higher than NVIDIA expected and its supply chains can meet. NVIDIA now expects the shortage of RTX 30 graphics cards may continue past the holiday season. In fact, it may persist into the first quarter of next year.

During a recent investor call, NVIDIA's CFO confirmed that long cycle times and supply chain constraints are the culprits behind the recent GPU shortage:

" Given industry-wide manufacturing capacity constraints and long cycle times, it may take several more months for product availability to meet demand"  - Colette Kress, NVIDIA CFO

Graphics cards based on the Ampere architecture are still out of stock in most retail stores. Last month,  the NVIDIA CEO   said that supply issues could persist until the end of 2020. It's now mid-November and the problems haven't gone away, in fact we're only learning that it could take even longer:

“We  would appreciate a shorter cycle time.  We would appreciate more flexible supply chains.  But you know the world is limited at the moment.  And so we just have to make the most of it.” - - Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA.

AMD is facing  similar issues with its just-announced Radeon RX 6800 series, which appeared to be even in smaller numbers than the GeForce RTX 30 series  . was not there yet. 

NVIDIA had big gaming revenue in the last quarter, up 37% yoy and almost the same quarter. The GeForce gaming series is certainly the driving force behind the company's revenue. However, if there are no cards, then there is no income, so it is in NVIDIA's interest to sell as many cards as possible.

The first leak comes from the Ashes of the Singularity testing website, where the RTX 3060 Ti has already been tested with the Crazy 1080p preset. Unsurprisingly, the graphics card performs worse than the Radeon RX 6800 and RTX 3070 series (the latter has the same GPU but with more CUDA cores):

Meanwhile,  the first results of the upcoming GA104-based graphics card have been spotted on the Geekbench database. The database confirms the main specifications of the graphics card, such as the number of streaming multiprocessors 38 (38 * 128 = 4864 cores) and the 8GB 14Gb/s memory configuration.

AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT custom models in development

According to the article, AMD's board system partners will be allowed to create their own designs based on the Navi 21 XTX GPU. The article argues that due to the limited time given by the AIB, the first developments should not be expected until early 2021. AMD has not yet commented on whether the Radeon RX 6900XT will receive special treatment from AIB, however, it has been speculated for a while, and even leaks from AIB themselves have suggested it will eventually happen.

It's unclear why AMD hasn't confirmed the custom RX 6900 XT series yet. MyDrivers believes that AMD may drop this due to the very limited supply of Navi 21 GPUs.  This will just put more pressure on the company, which is currently unable to keep up with demand from customers, retailers, and of course, product partners. board of directors.

AIB should have no problem accepting the RX 6900 XT GPU for its already released custom RX 6800 XT boards. Both SKUs have the same clock speeds and power targets. However, the RX 6900XT  has a higher GPU frequency  limit   . According to AMD's official reference specifications, the RX 6900 XT requires a larger 850W (850W) PSU than the RX 6800 XT, which requires a 750W PSU.

AMD is set to release the Radeon RX 6900 XT reference SKU on December 8th. The graphics card has 80 compute units with 5120 stream processors. It's a full-featured Big Navi variant that's officially targeted by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 in AMD's own test comparison. Officially, the graphics card will retail for $999, which is 1/3 cheaper than the RTX 3090. It's currently unclear how many cards will be available for sale at launch, but it's safe to assume it won't be mind-boggling.
