Capcom Raises the Bar: Dragon's Dogma 2 Marks the Shift to $70 in the U.S. and €75 in Europe

Capcom has announced a price hike for its upcoming releases, starting with Dragon's Dogma 2, surpassing the usual $60 mark in the U.S. and €60 in Europe. The decision to adjust pricing comes with the release of Capcom's first major game that does not support last-gen consoles.

During today's presentation, developers unveiled the trailer for Dragon's Dogma 2, showcasing snippets of cutscenes and gameplay. The video features a battle against the colossal Talos, glimpses of the Elven village, and a character customization overview.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is the sequel to the action RPG where players have the freedom to choose everything, from character appearance to narrative decisions. Journeying through the fantasy world, players will once again have AI-controlled pawns, mysterious creatures aiding them.

The narrative unfolds across two kingdoms - Vermunda and Battala - both under the looming threat of a massive dragon who has stolen the protagonist's heart.
