Free Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.1 Coming Alongside Ultimate Edition on December 5

CD Projekt Red has announced that a free update, Cyberpunk 2077 2.1, will be released on December 5, coinciding with the launch of the Ultimate Edition. While details about the changes in the patch remain mysterious, the studio promises new and "highly anticipated" gameplay elements. More information will be revealed during a live stream on December 1 at 4:00 PM CET. The stream will feature senior community manager Alicja Kozera, quests Quest Director Paweł Sasko, and producer Monika 'Ayano' Janowska. The update's arrival was announced through X just now.

CDPR's Global Community Director, Marcin Momot, also added that the team has "one more" update for Cyberpunk 2077, suggesting it might be the final major one for the game. "We have one more patch for Cyberpunk 2077 up our sleeve & it's called Update 2.1!", Momot wrote on X. "It arrives along with the Ultimate Edition on December 5th."

The Ultimate Edition includes the base game, the recently-released Phantom Liberty expansion, and a set of previously released digital goodies available as part of the "My Rewards" program.
