Judging from an early comparison shared online this week, Grand Theft Auto 6 is poised to become one of Rockstar Games' most visually impressive creations.

Twitter user @lmk_nathan42915 put together a side-by-side comparison of three nighttime screenshots from GTAV, Red Dead Redemption 2, and a leaked video from the upcoming sixth installment, highlighting significant lighting improvements in the pre-alpha version showcased in the leaks.

Other comparisons of Grand Theft Auto 6 emphasize the stunning visuals of Vice City compared to its original debut, and even showcase water that appears more advanced than that in Red Dead Redemption 2's pre-alpha footage.

Apart from the game being in development, not much has been revealed about Grand Theft Auto 6. The wait for more information, however, is almost over, as the game is set to be officially revealed next month. While the exact reveal date is yet unknown, there's speculation of a related announcement on Sunday, December 3rd. A Sunday tease wouldn't be unprecedented, as Red Dead Redemption 2 was also first teased on a Sunday.
