Anticipated fighting game, Mortal Kombat 1 by WB Games and NetherRealm Studios, is gearing up for its release on September 19 across platforms like PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Fans with the Premium Edition can look forward to an exclusive early access on September 14.
However, recent updates about the game have garnered mixed reactions from the community. Initially, during the game's announcement, crossplay support was mentioned by the developers. Yet, this information was later removed from the official game site, hinting at potential technical challenges faced by the studios.
WB Games and NetherRealm Studios have confirmed that crossplay will not be available at launch. However, they've assured players that they are diligently working on this feature and plan to roll out an update post-release.
