AMD Releases Radeon RX 7600 After Delay Due to Power Connector Issue
AMD has finally launched the reference version of the Radeon RX 7600 in Europe, priced at $269. The release was initially set for May 2023 but faced delays due to a design flaw in the card's power board, hindering the proper connection of PCIe 6 + 2 pin auxiliary power connectors.
Consequently, AMD postponed the launch of the public version, opting to release versions from third-party manufacturers instead. After a year of rectifying the design issue, the Radeon RX 7600, featuring a Navi33 core, 32 compute units, 2048 stream processors, and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, is now available.
