Maxsun Unveils Overclockable GeForce RTX 4090 MegaGamer OC Graphics Card

Maxsun, a lesser-known player in the high-end graphics card market, has introduced the promising GeForce RTX 4090 MegaGamer OC. Priced at $1,999, it's aimed to compete with Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4090, retailing at $1,599.

RTX 4090 Five Fan GPU RTX 4090 Launches

The Maxsun GeForce RTX 4090 MegaGamer OC 24GB is based on Nvidia's AD102 GPU, boasting 16,384 CUDA cores, clocked up to 2,580 MHz, with a power consumption of up to 450W. While the overclock is a modest 2.4% increase over Nvidia's recommended boost clock, the main attraction lies in its overclocking potential. Maxsun employs custom-printed circuit boards with an enhanced voltage regulating module (VRM) to maximize performance.

To keep temperatures in check, Maxsun equips the card with an oversized cooling system featuring five fans - three on the front and two smaller fans on the top/side. However, details about the noise levels are yet to be disclosed.

The GeForce RTX 4090 MegaGamer OC offers standard display outputs with three DisplayPorts and one HDMI.

It's worth noting that Maxsun, a Chinese company, has limited availability outside of China due to export license requirements for Nvidia products. The product's global reach remains uncertain.
