Significant Performance Boost Expected for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC with New NVIDIA Beta Driver

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to experience a major performance improvement on PC, thanks to NVIDIA's latest beta driver 550.9. According to tests conducted by Compusemble, using this driver along with the latest Windows Insider Build 26040 results in a 23% performance increase over the current stable Windows build and NVIDIA driver.

The game's Phantom Liberty expansion has already achieved notable success, selling over 5 million units in 2023. The 2.0 update and the expansion have been praised for their compelling spy thriller-themed storyline, enhanced progression system, and additions like vehicle combat and a revamped police system.

While the beta NVIDIA drivers lack official patch notes, it's expected that these performance improvements will be implemented in the public driver in the upcoming release. Cyberpunk 2077 is available globally on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One.
