Minimum settings
At minimum graphics settings, Men of War II significantly simplifies textures, lighting and effects. This makes the game accessible to weaker systems, but takes a toll on detail and overall visual quality.
- Textures: Low resolution textures appear blurry and less detailed. The surfaces of objects such as buildings, equipment and landscapes appear flatter and simpler.
- Lighting and Shadows: Uses basic lighting with minimal shadows. Shadows, if present, are blurred and have low resolution, which makes the picture less realistic and three-dimensional.
- Particle effects: The effects of smoke, fire and explosions are simplified, which reduces their entertainment value and realism. Weather effects have also been simplified, reducing the impact of atmospheric conditions on gameplay.
- Vegetation and environmental objects: Vegetation is less dense, with trees and bushes having simple and angular patterns. Fewer environmental objects make the game world less rich and vibrant.
- Render distance: At minimum settings, the draw distance is reduced, which leads to the appearance of objects and details only at a short distance from the player.

- Particle effects: Realistic effects of smoke, fire and explosions add spectacle to battles. Weather effects are detailed, with realistic raindrops and snowflakes that affect visibility and combat tactics.
- Vegetation and environmental objects: Dense and detailed vegetation, with tree and bush models responsive to wind and object interaction. A large number of small objects, such as rocks and debris, make the game world feel alive and authentic.
- Render distance: At maximum settings, the draw distance is increased, allowing you to see objects and details from a great distance, improving tactical perception and planning.

Testing of video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the program MSI Afterburner. The indicator was based on the results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA with separate screen sizes 1920×1080, 2560×1440 and 3840×2160 with various anti-aliasing settings. By default, the graph displays the most current solutions. Other video cards are added and removed from the schedule at the request of the reader.
