Official description of the game

Description: The legendary Painkiller returns in a completely new form. The game’s plot tells the sad story of William Sherman, a former CIA agent. Why did he become the main character of such disgrace? If only because, as part of one of the operations to clear the area of drug dealers, our Willie riddled dozens of peaceful and innocent residents. By an unfortunate mistake, but all the same. For such atrocities, after death our hero ends up in Hell, but he flatly refuses to accept such a fate. There is only one way out for him – to go back to doing what he knows how to do better than anything else in the world – clearing the area of bad people.

In order to earn the mercy of higher powers, William, under our strict guidance, will go to crush the skulls of hundreds, thousands of monsters using a wide variety of weapons. Of course, the signature dynamics will not go away – the developers assure that you will not have time to rest. They promise to raise the artificial intelligence of opponents to heights unprecedented in the series (now terrible creatures will patrol the area, learn to retreat in order to regroup and counterattack with even greater zeal), and one of the additional entertainments will be a cooperative mode. The graphics engine is well aware of many modern technologies, and Havok 2.0 will be responsible for physics, promising to teach enemies to die beautifully, and the environment to be beautifully and believably destroyed.

Review: Playability

If you played the first part of this project and were crazy about it, then you will definitely like this game. Other users will not find gaming interest in this game. The repetitive plot of the levels, the same type of destruction of monsters and the meaningless plot – all this in no way allows it to receive the status of a playable project.

Let’s hope that the developers have not yet squandered their potential many years ago and will someday present to our attention a wonderful project.

Review: Game Graphics

You won’t see any super-duper graphic effects or ultra-realistic physics in the game. Lately we are starting to get used to this. A slightly polished and reworked project from the Homegrown Games studio has only slightly improved graphics compared to its predecessor.

Therefore, players will not have to rely on a beautiful picture, as well as playability.

Review: Resource-intensive game

For a comfortable game, an advanced single-core processor and one gigabyte of RAM will be sufficient. Therefore, the recommended system requirements for the game presented by the publisher are clearly too high.

It is also worth noting the fact that now our reviews also include video cards from ATI.

Testing at maximum quality settings at 1920×1080 resolution

Considering not very demanding graphics, this behavior of video accelerators at this resolution is not surprising…

Final World : A game for a very sophisticated amateur. You can safely walk past it.
