Alan Wake Remastered offers the full game and includes the main game, with stunning new 4K graphics. The tense episodic story is filled with unexpected twists, breathtaking situations and intense battles that will require more than weapons to dispel the darkness. Cutscenes, whimsical character casts, and majestic views of the Pacific Northwest have been enhanced to create a compelling visual impact and tense atmosphere.

GAME ENGINE

The game is based on the new generation Northlight game engine, which was developed by the Finnish company Remedy Entertainment specifically for internal use. Remedy Entertainment's previous developments, Max Payne and Alan Wake, were developed using Remedy's own engines. The engine used in Alan Wake, dubbed the "Alan Wake Engine", was built using the Havok physics component.

For Quantum Break Remedy created a completely new engine, dubbed "Northlight". According to Remedy creative director Sam Lake, the Northlight Engine was an evolution of their storytelling process. The Northlight engine can conceivably capture face capture using surface capture and 4D scanning better than previous developed engines.

In the test of video cards, the default resolution is 1920x1080, other resolutions are added and removed manually. You can also remove and add any positions of video cards. VIDEO MEMORY CONSUMPTION

Testing of the video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the  MSI Afterburner program. The results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA at resolutions of  1920x1080 and 2560x1440 with various anti-aliasing settings were taken as the indicator. By default, the graph displays the most up-to-date solutions. Other graphics cards are added and removed from the chart at the reader's request.

The test was conducted on the base configuration of the Core i 9 11900K with the amount of pre-installed memory 16 GB DDR4 3733 MGz. All used RAM was taken as an indicator. The RAM test on the entire system was carried out on various video cards without running extraneous applications (browsers, etc.).
