MSI 11th generation Core series of notebooks

MSI was one of the few companies that decided to relaunch their 10th generation Intel-based laptops with the GeForce RTX 30 graphics card released in January.

A laptop series like the flagship GE66/76 Raider with RTX 30 Max-P graphics will look pretty much the same whether buyers choose between the 10th Gen Core series or the upcoming Tiger Lake-H. However, inside the changes will be significant. The 11th generation Core series will be faster than the 10th generation. These processors are the first series in recent years not based on Skylake. Users should expect a double-digit increase in compute performance and about twice the performance with integrated graphics compared to Comet Lake-H (10th gen). This is of course based on the leaks and everything we already know about the Tiger Lake-U and Tiger Lake-H35 that have already been released. In terms of connectivity and storage, users should also expect much better performance,

MSI will update the GE66/76 Raider and GS 66/76 Stealth series for Tiger Lake-H. The company will also release the new GL76 Leopard as well as the GL76 Thin series. Gamers considering MSI laptops will be offered graphics up to the Core i9-11980HK and RTX 3080 Max-P with the GE66/76 Raider series, but these laptops will easily cost between €3,000 and €4,000. The new laptops won't be cheap, but options with an 8-core Tiger Lake-H processor like the Core i9-11900H or Core i7-11800H paired with RTX 3070 or RTX 3060 graphics should be available for $2,000 to $3,000 per Euro. You can also see the first listing with the GeForce RTX 3050 series and they can easily cost around 1000-1500 EUR/USD.

MSI will be holding their MSIology event on May 17th (6 days after the supposed launch of Tiger Lake-H).
