Palit to resume production of mining cards
According to new EEC documentation from Palit, the company is apparently planning to resume production of Pascal P106 GPU mining cards, almost 3 years after they first appeared.
The P106-90 is a stripped-down GP106 GPU with 640 CUDA cores and 3GB of G5 memory, while the higher-end P106-100 had 1280 CUDA cores and 6GB of G5 memory. The EEC filing appears to indicate ``1069'', which implies P106-090, but this card can no longer be used in Ethereum mining due to limited video memory, as the current ETH DAG file is already 4.11 GB.

The P106/104 mining cards were based on the 16nm Pascal architecture. These cards lacked display connectors, which are not needed for mining cards running in a cluster. Often they came in bulk without stickers and fancy packaging, and above all, sold at a higher price with a shorter warranty period.
