Riva TNT2 Vanta
What were the differences between Riva TNT2 Vanta and Riva TNT2 M64?
Support up to 16 Mb of memory
Operation at 100/120 MHz
RAMDAC 250 MHz
That is, in our case, we see an even more simplified version of the Riva TNT2 video chip. What was it for? To further lower the price. The result is the lowest performance since Riva TNT. Video cards based on the Riva TNT2 Vanta chip are overclocked to 125/140 MHz - approximately to the level of the non-overclocked Riva TNT2 M64.

Support for only 16 MB of memory made it possible to set resolutions up to 1900x1200x32. What else to say? Everything has already been said. Riva TNT2 Vanta couldn't compete with the overclocked Riva TNT in terms of speed. In terms of quality, there was no difference. Supported the same amount of memory. The only objective improvement is AGP 4x support. In 2D, the Riva TNT2 Vanta was the worst since the Riva TNT. Riva TNT2 Vanta video cards were supplied, for the most part, in OEM configurations.
It was almost impossible to find a Riva TNT2 Vanta sold with a fan installed. If you look at the printed circuit boards of video cards on Riva TNT2 Vanta, you can find too much empty space. The Riva TNT2 Vanta usually did not have TV in/out installed.
