AMD Introduces New Diagnostic Tool for Troubleshooting Radeon GPUs

For those facing issues with their Radeon graphics cards, AMD might have an answer. The company has rolled out the Radeon GPU Detective tool designed to address GPU troubleshooting woes. And for those mulling over hardware upgrades, it's worth noting there are top-tier graphic card offerings available from both NVIDIA & AMD.

The tool, part of the Radeon Developer Tool Suite, provides insights into GPU crash causes by generating logs upon encountering issues. Presently, only the Direct3D12 API is supported, though additional API support may be on the horizon. Radeon GPU Detective is compatible with RX 6000 and RX 7000 series graphics cards and requires Adrenalin drivers version 23.7.2 or higher to function.
