ASUS announces the release of the ProArt PA602 case

ProArt PA602

ASUS announces the release of the first case in the ProArt line – PA602. The ProArt PA602's front design provides maximum air intake, a thick 140mm rear fan, dual 200mm front fans and a 420mm radiator provide top-notch thermal performance. ProArt PA602 is also designed to help the user simplify the PC building process with a full range of innovative features, and it is prepared for convenient everyday use with automatic dust detection, built-in PWM control on the front I/O power lock latch, and a wide range of easily accessible USB ports. And it's all in a sophisticated, minimalist style, making it an easy addition to any studio, film set or creator's workspace.

Amazing cooling performance

The ProArt PA602 case provides users with the best comprehensive cooling and discreet performance. Its cooling capability starts at the front with an open grille featuring wide 15.5mm vents with 45% porosity and two pre-installed 200mm ProArt front fans to ensure unobstructed airflow into the case. Because these fans are much thicker than standard 120mm or 140mm case fans, they move the same volume of air much more quietly, giving users an incredible balance of performance and acoustics. With large 38mm blades and a wide RPM range (300-1000 RPM), these durable PWM fans deliver extremely high airflow while remaining extremely quiet. They are rated for airflow up to 190.2 CFM, which is almost twice that of regular 200mm system fans. A pre-installed 140mm fan at the back of the ProArt PA602 helps dissipate heat, and it can stop completely for silent operation when temperatures allow.

Inside the case, dual baffles help direct cooling air where it's needed most. A long panel along the leading edge of the motherboard tray gently pushes airflow across the top edge of the motherboard, reducing turbulence and providing excellent cooling for the CPU and VRM area. The power supply shroud also has a beveled leading edge to direct airflow towards the graphics card.

Creativity-friendly PC assembly with ProArt PA 602

ProArt PA602 simplifies and streamlines the PC building process. Firstly, it has enough space for even the largest components. This case fits motherboards up to 12 inches long and up to 10.9 inches wide. If users prefer a powerful cooler for their CPU, they will find that the maximum height of the PA602 CPU cooler is 190mm, allowing them to choose from almost any option available in the market. For those considering liquid cooling, the top heatsink supports 420mm-tall radiators for truly high-quality cooling.

Complete projects, high-resolution projects, and large data sets may require large amounts of memory. The spacious design of the ProArt PA602 gives users plenty of options for installing a large number of drives. With support for up to eight 2.5-inch SSDs, you can quickly set up a storage array that's as big as it is fast. The case also has four bays that are compatible with 3.5-inch hard drives.

To simplify the process of connecting front panel I/O to the motherboard, all key functions are combined into one unified connector. Finally, the ProArt PA602 case minimizes the need for tools when assembling and servicing your PC. Both side panels can be removed by pressing just one key. The PA602 also marks the debut of a patented ASUS-exclusive mechanism for installing additional PCIe cards, including graphics cards, without the need for a screwdriver.

Everyday amenities

ProArt PA602 not only simplifies the assembly process, but also offers thoughtful solutions that make the user's daily work with the PC easier. Content creators often need to connect a variety of peripherals and external drives to their workstations, so there are plenty of USB ports on the front I/O panel. Topping the list is a 20Gbps Type-C® high-speed USB port; Connect this case to a compatible motherboard to get the most out of it. Two USB 5Gbps Type-A ports and two USB 2.0 ports give users plenty of options to connect other devices.

Any user who has ever had a significant amount of work crossed out by accidentally pressing the power button will appreciate the physical locking of the power button on the ProArt PA602 body. This simple mechanism prevents you from accidentally pressing the power button.

To slow down the accumulation of dust inside the case, the ProArt PA602 case features removable dust filters on the front, top and bottom panels. The PA602 also features an exclusive system that automatically detects how much dust, microfibers and other particles have accumulated on the front filter and turns on the LED on the side of the body when it's time to thoroughly clean the filters.

ProArt style

Featuring a minimalist design with clean lines and pleasing symmetry, the ProArt PA602 has an aesthetic that never looks out of place. The tempered glass side panel allows for a better view of the hardware inside, but it's also tinted to minimize any distractions so users can focus on their workflow.
