Intel reportedly has its test tools in place for the Battlemage Arc GPUs, primed for verification and debugging. The company’s grasp on early silicon samples suggests a favorable trajectory in the development of the next-gen Arc gaming suite.

Slated for a 2024 release, the Battlemage GPUs are anticipated to harness the TSMC 4nm process node, ushering in fresh technological solutions and enhanced architectural tweaks. These chips are set to power the forthcoming iGPU generations earmarked for the 2025 Lunar Lake lineup.

The model showcased during the tour is perceived to be for discrete graphics. Buzz suggests the Battlemage will span across Xe2-HPG and Xe2-LPG variants.

Post the Alchemist chapter, Intel swiftly transitioned to the Arc Battlemage GPU operations. This is cemented by the operational Battlemage chips already humming in the company’s labs.

Journalists, during a recent press tour at Intel’s Malaysian factory, were treated to a spectrum of Intel’s productions, including the 5th Gen Xeon "XCC" processors and Meteor Lake chips.
