Gigabyte Unveils New RTX 4090 Aorus Waterforce Graphics Card with Liquid Cooling

Gigabyte has released a new water-cooled GPU model, the RTX 4090 Aorus Waterforce. This monster has an external 360mm radiator, which will probably cause some difficulties when installed in a case, but the card will be cool and silent. Importantly, the RTX 4090 Aorus Waterforce is a clone of the RTX 3090 Ti with an updated PCB and new GeForce RTX logos.

The card has a powerful AD102 GPU along with three 120mm fans and a large copper base plate. The 460mm braided tubing makes installation very easy without the need for complicated custom water loops. But despite all these advantages, Gigabyte did not change the backplate of the card, which still has a cutout for NVLink, which is absent on the RTX 4090.

Interestingly, the RTX 4090 Aorus Waterforce is powered by a single 16-pin power connector, which may raise some concerns regarding power consumption and heat dissipation. However, we hope that Gigabyte has thought of everything down to the smallest detail.

The RTX 4090 Aorus Waterforce will be available alongside other AIO cooled models such as the Colorful iGame Neptune and MSI Suprim X Liquid. So far, the release date and price of this card remain unknown, but we hope that Gigabyte will provide this information soon.
