Leaked Benchmarks Show Promising Performance for AMD Radeon RX 7700 and 7800 GPUs

The renowned hardware leaker, All_The_Watts!!, has shared alleged benchmark results of AMD's upcoming performance-mainstream RDNA 3-based Radeon RX 7700 and Radeon RX 7800 graphics cards, using 3DMark Time Spy. Although these results are unconfirmed and should be taken with a grain of salt, they suggest potential performance levels in line with those of their competitors.

7700

According to these leaks, AMD's Radeon RX 7700 reportedly scores 15,465 points in 3DMark Time Spy. If accurate, this places the Radeon RX 7700 ahead of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, which averages a score of 12,836 but can reach up to 15,000 on higher-end systems. This also surpasses AMD's own Radeon RX 6700 XT, which generally scores 11,970, but can hit 15,087 on a high-performance PC.

7800

On the other hand, the leaked benchmark for the Radeon RX 7800 suggests a score of 18,197 points, albeit on an undisclosed system. Even when assuming a high-performance setup, this places it short of the Radeon RX 6800's score of 20,239.

The specifications of both the Radeon RX 7700 and RX 7800 remain unconfirmed, but rumors point to the use of AMD's Navi 32 graphics processor with up to 3840 stream processors (or 60 compute units) in both models. The official specifications will remain unknown until their expected release in late August.
