Noctua is preparing coolers for AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000.

Noctua

Noctua, a company known for its high-quality cooling solutions, has announced the development of two new coolers specifically designed for the upcoming AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 processors.

Cooler Design Details

Both coolers feature a large 70 x 56mm base that completely covers the Threadripper processors. Each of the coolers can accommodate up to two fans, with the dual model providing additional space for a third fan.

Efficiency and Cooling Technologies

Tests show that the third fan doesn't add a significant benefit, so it's likely that two fans will remain in retail models to keep costs down. Both Threadripper coolers will feature NT-H2 thermal paste in a honeycomb pattern, as well as an updated SecuFirm2 mounting system.

Release Date and Processor Compatibility

Noctua plans to release both coolers in October, implying AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 processors should be available around the same time. Fans of air-cooling systems can rest assured that Noctua is ready to serve their needs with two high-performance coolers.
