Matrox Productiva G100

This video card was positioned by the manufacturer as a relatively cheap solution for business software that is demanding on the performance of the computer's graphics subsystem. The video card is built on a 64-bit MGA-G100 chip, the amount of video memory was 4 or 8 MB; using SDRAM memory. The possibility of increasing the video memory was not provided: the card is simply produced in two versions (by the way, not very different in price). The video card has a built-in RAMDAC at 230 MHz, which allows you to get a screen refresh rate of 200 Hz at a resolution of 800x600.

The video card was originally conceived to achieve the maximum speed of 2D graphics (that is, all non-gaming applications for Windows). In terms of 2D performance (WinBench 98 Business), Productiva is ahead of even such well-known video cards from famous manufacturers as Viper V330 from Diamond Multimedia, ATI AGP and Number Nine 9Fx Reality 334.
