Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered is a re-release of the iconic action game that has been highly acclaimed by fans and critics alike. Now the developers have decided to please the fans and completely updated the look of the game adventure.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Assassin's Creed III Remastered has software version 1.0.1. When you purchase a game from the  Nintendo Store, it is downloaded to a microSD card or internal storage.

The total size of the downloaded game is about 17 gigabytes, which is almost 2.5 times smaller than the size of the PC version.

GAME ENGINE

Assassin's Creed III was developed on the Anvil engine, a game engine created by Ubisoft Montreal, a subsidiary of publisher Ubisoft. "Anvil" is a commercial proprietary cross-platform game engine designed for use on a personal computer (Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X) and game consoles PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. First used in Assassin's Creed.

Assassin's Creed III Remastered for Nintendo Switch has been rather simplified and more close to the original version of the game.

CONTROL

The control setting is standard, as for other consoles.

There is not much variety in the control settings.

And there are no graphics settings in the game, only a change in brightness is available.

MODES COMPARISON Nintendo Switch and PC

As we can see, the graphics for Nintendo Switch are more close to the original than to the remastered PC version of the game.

OVERALL GAMING EXPERIENCE

Assassin's Creed III Remastered is quite briskly played on the handheld, giving a new feeling to the passage of the Assassin's Creed series.

Sometimes the game crashes when switching from TV mode to portable mode. It is also not clear how to install Russian voice acting - the language pack itself was additionally installed, but there are no language switching settings in the game ...
