Radeon HD 2600 XT GDDR4
Formally, the Radeon HD 2600 series consists of only two models - with XT and Pro indices.
However, in fact, ATI has produced at least four modifications. Thus, the HD 2600 XT video card can be equipped with both GDDR3 and GDDR4 memory. Moreover, in the latter case, we have a completely different product, which differs both in design and clock speeds:
Radeon HD 2600 XT DDR3: RV630 chip with a frequency of 800 MHz, 256 MB of GDDR3 memory with a frequency of 700 (1400) MHz;
Radeon HD 2600 XT DDR4: RV630 chip @ 800 MHz, 256 MB GDDR4 memory @ 1100 (2200) MHz.
As you can see, the difference in memory frequency is huge - 400 MHz, or 63%
