Radeon R7 260X

 260x specs

Like the Bonaire chip in the Radeon HD 7790, the Bonaire XTX in the R7 260X is a fully enabled GPU with 896 stream processors, 56 texture units and 16 ROPs. The processor communicates with the frame buffer via a 128-bit bus. But, in addition to TrueAudio support and updated PowerTune, the R7 260X is characterized by significantly increased clock frequencies: 1100 and 6500 MHz (core and memory, respectively) versus 1000 and 6000 MHz for the HD 7790. However, the TDP has increased along the way: from 85 to 115 watts.

Radeon R7 260X

The specification calls for 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, while the Radeon HD 7790 officially exists in a version with 1 GB of frame buffer.
