Radeon RX 6500 XT

AMD made an ambitious move by unveiling its low-end gaming solution at CES 2022. Audience attention was drawn to the Radeon RX 6500 XT, but expectations were mixed due to some technical restrictions that were introduced to keep the cost low.

Performance and Architecture: The Radeon RX 6500 XT is based on the Navi 24 GPU manufactured in 6nm. It is equipped with 1024 shader processors and 16 ray tracing units. Specification cuts: In an attempt to reduce the cost of the graphics card, AMD has reduced the amount of video memory to 4 GB GDDR6, and also reduced the bit width of the video memory bus to 256 bits.
