Radeon X1300 XT
The solution is based on the same RV530 GPU made using the 90 nm process technology. The main features of this chip are 12 pixel pipelines, 4 texture pipelines and 5 vertex pipelines. The chip frequency is 500 MHz, like in X1600 PRO, the memory is also the same - 400 (800) MHz.
The amount of memory installed on the cards is 256 or 512 MB, the memory bus is 128 bits wide.
In the line of video cards manufactured by Sapphire, in addition to the reference version equipped with GDDR2 memory chips, there was a variant with an increased memory frequency up to 500 (1000) MHz and GDDR3 chips. The memory bus is 128 bits wide. Solutions were also available in AGP-version, support for this interface is organized by means of the Rialto chip. In this case, in order to comply with the requirements for power consumption, a connector for connecting an external power supply is soldered on the board.
The graphics processor used in these cards fully supported the SM 3.0 specification (DirectX 9.0c) and HDR blending in FP16 format with the ability to share MSAA at the hardware level. The technical characteristics of this solution made it possible to use gaming applications of a class no higher than SM 3.0 with an acceptable level of performance at graphics settings of medium and even higher.
There is the possibility of combining two video cards into a CrossFire bundle.
