GAME ENGINE |
The Age of Wonders series began in 1999 and the first game was built on its own engine developed by Triumph Studios. This engine allowed the game to provide turn-based strategic battles on wide maps with varied terrain and objects. The visuals and graphics were quite impressive at the time, and the game received many positive reviews.
Over time, the engine has been upgraded and updated for each new game in the series. For example, Age of Wonders 3, released in 2014, used an updated version of the engine, offering improved visuals, a more flexible modification system, and better camera controls.
Age of Wonders: Planetfall, the latest game in the series, released in 2019, was also created on an updated version of the Triumph Studios engine. This allowed the developers to make significant changes to the gameplay, taking it to the sci-fi universe. Planetfall introduced new technologies, factions and development branches, as well as an improved hexagonal grid combat system.

Our video cards were tested at 1920x1080, 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 resolutions with ultra graphics quality settings.

Testing of the video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the MSI Afterburner program. The results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA at resolutions of 1920x1080, 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 with various anti-aliasing settings were taken as the indicator. Testing takes place on the most productive NVIDIA and AMD video cards and scales up to lower models.
When using NVIDIA video cards, Ryzen 3 3100 or Core i 3 10100 processors showed an acceptable rate of at least 25 frames per second , and Ryzen 9 5900 or Core i 5 11600 solutions can provide an FPS rate of at least 60 frames per second .

With trace aitivation, the game can already load up to 12 threads. Uses 8 threads as efficiently as possible.
RAM TEST |
The test was conducted on the base configuration Core i 9 13900K with 32 GB DDR5 6400 MHz pre-installed memory. All used RAM was taken as an indicator. The RAM test on the entire system was carried out on various video cards without running extraneous applications (browsers, etc.).
