Official description of the game

Description: The game is set in a futuristic Tokyo where Ken (designed by Keiji Nakaoka, character designer of Lost Planet), the protagonist of Ninja Blade, fights for the rights of ordinary Japanese samurai. Unlike Ninja Gaiden II, the protagonist's arsenal is filled with only three weapons that can be switched between in real time: katana (quick attacks that can surprise the enemy), Souken (double swords, easily replace nunchucks in battle) and Taiken ( heavy sword, mainly used against adversaries with heavy armor).

Over the years of its existence, the capital of the Japanese state has been repeatedly attacked by enemies. Parasites Carriers, capable of turning any living creature into zombies, are hiding and waiting in the wings. Ken and his faithful blade will have to pacify the evil reptiles (a traditional weapon upgrade on the spot).

Features of the game:
- Vision Ninja. Ken has unique abilities that distinguish a ninja from a mere mortal. Using Ninja Vision, he finds weaknesses in his enemies, as well as secret passages and hidden information in the area. But remember - entering this special state, the hero becomes more vulnerable to enemy attacks.
- Kick Todome. UNinja are professional assassins. At your disposal is their secret technique of killing the enemy - Todome strike, which instantly breaks the heart of the enemy. The right combination of Todome and Ninja Vision is essential to survive in deadly Tokyo.
- Technique "Ninjutsu". True masters can not only kill, but also stun enemies. By mastering the special technique "Ninjutsu", you can cause an explosive electric wave that disorients the enemy and even protects from attack.
- Photographic accuracy. Ninja Blade is a saga about modern ninjas operating in a real metropolis. All skyscrapers and buildings in the game are copied from the houses of real Tokyo.

Overview: Playability

Ninja Blade has mediocre controls and gameplay. On the one hand, fans of slashers will really like it, and on the other hand, hardcore gamers will get little pleasure from it.

The whole gameplay consists in completing levels and destroying incredibly large-sized bosses. They won’t let us run around the city of Tokyo itself, but only be content with moving around the rooftop locations.

In the game from the very beginning, the PC gamer will not feel very comfortable. This is primarily due to poor management - console porting is very pronounced.

Review: Game Graphics

The graphics are still the same familiar third anrial engine. As always, he lacks stars from the sky, but he is able to convey a completely sufficient game picture.

The corridor game locations and the lack of an open game world will be a little disappointing, but what can you do - the developers had their own views on this.

Review: Game resource intensive

The game does not seem to slow down, but during the gameplay, slowdowns are visually noticeable, which, oddly enough, do not affect the FPS drop. We suspect porting flaws and it is quite possible that the developers will eliminate this error with the release of the patch. As always, given the appetites of this engine, we can state that a Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz processor and 1.5 gigabytes of RAM are required.

Testing was carried out at maximum quality settings. We tested video cards of the lower price segment at a resolution of 1024x768, we tested video cards of the middle price range at a resolution of 1280x1024, and video cards of the upper price range were tested at a resolution of 1680x1050.

Testing at maximum Low End quality settings at a resolution of 1024x768

1024

In the lower range, only 4 participants are able to show a more or less acceptable result.

Testing at maximum quality settings Midle End at a resolution of 1280x1024

1280

On average, only the latest versions fail, but the FPS drops are not critical...

Testing at the highest High End quality settings at a resolution of 1680x1050

1680

Well, here, as always - a complete idyll. In general, we can conclude that in terms of price and performance, Radeon video cards dominate.

Conclusion: the game is designed but for fans of slashers, and for a simple layman, Ninja Blade may seem somewhat boring and of the same type. In general, the game exerts a negligible load on video cards - a total of 49%.
