Assassin's Creed: Mirage" Ditches Service Model, Returning to Roots, Ubisoft States

Ubisoft has announced a return to the classic formula in the new installment of the Assassin's Creed series titled "Mirage". Producer Fabian Salamon confirmed that the game would ditch the service model, a unique feature for this release. There are no plans for significant updates and DLC, which sets Mirage apart from previous entries.

According to Ubisoft, the main story of "Mirage" will take between 20 to 24 hours to complete, while completing the game 100% with all the side content will take 25-30 hours. This playtime aligns with the duration of the initial entries in the series.

In terms of gameplay, "Mirage" will offer players a map that includes only one city, comparable in size to Paris from "Assassin's Creed: Unity". The game will focus on stealth assassinations and parkour, emphasizing the series' classic style.

The release of "Assassin's Creed: Mirage" is slated for October 12.
