Bethesda Rolls Out Starfield DLSS 3 Beta Update: Enhanced Performance and Features Now in Testing

Bethesda Game Studios fulfills its promise with the release of the Starfield DLSS 3 beta update, bringing cutting-edge enhancements and performance optimizations to the eager gaming community. Steam gamers can join the beta by navigating their game library settings. Note that progress in beta is preserved for the full update later this month, although beta-specific saves will only become compatible post-update.

This beta iteration introduces DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex, and DLAA to improve gameplay visuals and responsiveness. Bethesda advises that to fully benefit from DLSS Frame Generation, VSync should be turned off, a setting that will later be adjusted automatically in an upcoming patch.

The update doesn't just add new technologies; it also offers performance boosts across CPU and GPU hardware, enhanced brightness and contrast settings, including HDR support, gameplay improvements, and a comprehensive list of bug fixes.
