Capcom has addressed the issues with rain in the remake of Resident Evil 4 prior to its release.

Capcom has successfully addressed the rain problem in its upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake. Recently released gameplay footage showed that the rain effect looked rather unnatural and resembled an unfortunate effect from another game. However, after requests from fans, the producer of the updated project, Hirabayashi Yoshiaki, promised to fix this problem.

As stated, the developers released a Day 1 patch that improved the rain effect in the game. The release of the Resident Evil 4 remake is scheduled for March 24, and already now the project has received very high marks from the press. The average scores on OpenCritic and Metacritic are 92/100 and 93/100, respectively.
