Dying Light 2 Unleashes a Wave of Exciting Updates, Including Firearms

Dying Light 2 continues to delight its fans with updates. Recently, the developers presented a list of upcoming changes, and now it's available in the form of a trailer.

Here's what to expect in the upcoming Dying Light 2 updates:

  1. New Missions and Activities: Get ready for new cooperative missions, quest boards, tower raids, replayable anomalies, and the return of the Tolga and Fatim twins.

  2. Graphics Settings: Quality of life improvements include graphic settings like disabling "bloom" and adjusting the field of view on Xbox Series S.

  3. Quality of Life Improvements: The game will see improvements such as weapon repairs, equipment and mod dismantling.

  4. New Cosmetic Items: New items will be available to customize your character.

  5. New Mechanics: Prepare for new enemy variations, finishing moves, the "Nightmare" difficulty level, and the ability to transfer attachments to "New Game +." You'll also be able to pick up weapons from enemy corpses.

  6. Arsenal Additions: New rarity levels for weapons, as well as new weapon types like knives and polearms, will be introduced. The "Scorpion" flamethrower will also make an appearance. Weapons thrown at enemies will leave elemental effects.

  7. Holiday Events: Get ready to celebrate Halloween and winter holidays with crossovers featuring Vampire: The Masquerade and For Honor.

  8. Other Improvements: Expect a text chat feature, explosive throwing knives, save synchronization across different platform generations, and much more.

And of course, at the end of the trailer, they revealed what many were waiting for — the ability to use firearms!

Techland hasn't announced specific dates, but the updates, including firearms, will be available for free and will arrive by the end of winter.
