Gabriel Amatangelo Reveals Plans for Cyberpunk 2077's Future Content

In a recent interview with the Skill Up YouTube channel, Cyberpunk 2077’s game director Gabriel Amatangelo discussed the potential future content for the game. He noted that although CD Projekt RED's focus has shifted towards the sequel's development, Cyberpunk 2077 might still receive content updates. Amatangelo emphasized that the studio would be open to such updates if there is interest within the team, but these would be minor due to most resources being allocated to the sequel project.

The details of what these updates might contain were not disclosed, with Amatangelo mentioning that it depends on the studio's current workload and the team's interest in further developing Cyberpunk 2077. He also stated that CD Projekt RED is satisfied with the current state of Cyberpunk 2077, with a small team of 17 people continuing to support the game.

Additionally, Amatangelo is leading the development of Project Orion, the code name for the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, which is in active development. He suggested that any future updates for Cyberpunk 2077, if they occur, could include both bug fixes and new content that aligns with the game's overall concept and style.
