Marvel's Spider-Man 2: Official Release Date and New Details Announced

Insomniac Games delighted fans at Summer Game Fest 2023 by revealing the exact release date for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 action-adventure game for PlayStation 5. The game will release on October 20th with pre-orders available on June 16th.

The event also featured new artwork featuring Venom and Kraven the Hunter, and this time's game cover featured two Spiders, Peter Parker and Miles Morales.

In addition, Insomniac Games' creative director, Brian Intihar, spoke briefly from the stage about the new villains. Craven has been presented as the world's greatest hunter who arrives in New York to stage the most epic hunt, and Venom's story promises a unique twist from what we've seen on screen and in comics. It was especially confirmed that the symbiote in the game will not be Eddie Brock, but someone else.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 promises amazing adventures, addictive gameplay and amazing graphics. Players will have the opportunity to play the role of two heroes and go through new challenges and battles with powerful enemies. New details expand interaction with the popular Marvel Universe, promising a unique gaming experience.
