Paradox Interactive Surprises Gamers: Optimization Not Included!

The grand city-building simulator, Cities Skylines 2, promises boundless opportunities for your architectural dreams, but don't expect any optimization here. It seems even the original game enjoyed playing tricks on us by voraciously devouring our precious RAM, especially during those massive construction projects.

However, with Cities Skylines 2, Paradox Interactive is not pretending. They openly warn us that optimization is just not their thing. They even refer to CS2 as a "next-gen game," demanding hardware from the future. But no worries, they do intend to "improve" the project down the road. The release is set for October 24th, and don't be fooled by the deceptively low minimum system requirements:

OS: Windows 10, 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
GPU: GeForce GTX 970
RAM: 8 GB*

Because the recommended specs are much more truthful:

CPU: Intel Core i5-12600K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU: GeForce RTX 3080
RAM: 16 GB

So, dear friends, get ready for some next-gen fun and beware of those overly ambitious construction sites!
