Playtesters refuse to participate in testing of Skull and Bones

Ubisoft's online action game Skull and Bones faces unfavorable feedback from playtesters. Amid a recent round of testing, reports emerged that the majority of testers are refusing to continue their involvement in the project.

Despite the challenging situation, other Ubisoft projects including Assassin's Creed Codename Red, Far Cry 7, and Project Over (Ghost Recon) seem to be advancing without hurdles. This information became known through messages coming from reliable sources within the company.

However, it's worth noting that Skull and Bones and another long-term Ubisoft project - Beyond Good & Evil 2, are considered the main "roadblocks". According to some data, these games are consuming a significant amount of the company's resources.

So far, there's no exact information on the release date of Beyond Good & Evil 2. Skull and Bones is expected to be released no later than March 31, 2024, and a closed beta test on PC is planned for the coming month.
