A gameplay trailer for Star Trek: Infinite has been unveiled, along with the system requirements.

Paradox Interactive has announced its new game Star Trek: Infinite, which promises to offer players the opportunity to create their own stories in the Star Trek universe. This epic strategy game features the four main factions from the Star Trek series: the United Federation of Planets, the Klingon Empire, the Romulan Star Empire and the Cardassian Alliance. As a player, you will be able to choose one of these factions and become its leader.

One of the interesting features of Star Trek: Infinite will be the ability to hire different characters from different Star Trek shows as officers. These characters will include well-known and fan-favorite names such as Picard, Janeway, Sisko, Data, Gowron, Makbar and Garak, to name a few. Ships are also a big part of the game, and each faction will have access to different ship classes, such as the Federation's Defiant class, Cardassian Galor class ships, Romulan D'deridexes, and Klingon Negh'Var battleships.

Star Trek: Infinite is based on the popular game Stellaris, so for those familiar with the game, Star Trek: Infinite will be relatively easy to get to grips with. Paradox Interactive stated that the game's systems were optimized specifically for Star Trek: Infinite. Although there is no exact release date for the game yet, the system requirements are already known.
