STALKER 2 May Launch in December According to PLAION Store Leak

STALKER 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the cult classic series, might be released on December 1, 2023, according to a leak on the German PLAION Store, sparking a wave of excitement among fans.

The game, powered by Unreal Engine 5, is set to utilize NVIDIA's Audio2Face technology for realistic facial animation. The new installment is expected to feature enhanced AI systems, dynamic weather conditions, a non-linear storyline, and a multiplayer mode to be added post-release.

Previously, GSC Game World planned to launch STALKER 2 in December 2022, but the war in Ukraine forced a halt to development. Now, it appears the developers are ready to return to the initial plan, promising an unforgettable experience for players worldwide.

STALKER 2 will initially launch on PC and Xbox Series S|X, with Microsoft securing a three-month exclusive deal. The game is also anticipated to debut on PlayStation 5 afterward, available on Game Pass from day one.
