Star Wars Outlaws from Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment is likely to become an exclusive title for the Ubisoft Connect platform on PC.

Star Wars Outlaws

Expectations of the gaming community have been fueled by the announcement of an exciting open-world action adventure titled Star Wars Outlaws from Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment. The game was announced for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S platforms at the Xbox Games Showcase. However, specific digital stores where the game will be available on PC have not been revealed.

The Exputer portal drew attention to an interesting detail in the Star Wars Outlaws section on the official Ubisoft website. In the list of digital platforms where the PC version of the game will be available, only one name is indicated - Ubisoft Connect.

So it looks like the PC edition of Star Wars Outlaws will be exclusive to the Ubisoft Connect platform, bypassing both Steam (as in the case of Assassin's Creed Mirage) and the Epic Games Store (as in the case of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora). , also developed by Massive Entertainment).

It is not yet clear whether this will be a permanent exclusivity or a temporary limitation. However, it is worth noting that Ubisoft games are often delayed on the Steam platform. For example, the most recent release so far is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction, which debuted in January 2022 but didn't appear on Steam until June 2022.

It's possible that Star Wars Outlaws will make its way to other platforms in the future, but for now it seems like the only option for PC players to purchase the game will be Ubisoft Connect.

The official release of Star Wars Outlaws is expected in 2024. Players will plunge into a captivating world as "the cunning rogue" named Kay Vess, who, along with her faithful companion Nyx, will undertake "one of the greatest heists in the history of the Outer Rim".
