Starfield: Leaks & First Impressions Light Up the Space Odyssey from Bethesda

As the Starfield launch approaches, the online realm is abuzz with leaks and early impressions of Bethesda's enigmatic space venture. It seems like "Fallout 4, but in space."

The game thrusts players into action faster than the beloved Skyrim. You're immediately allowed to board a ship and start your cosmic adventure. Combat is notably enhanced, especially in third-person mode using a gamepad. The AI of the foes shows improvement from the Fallout 4 days, but isn’t revolutionary.

However, some players find the melee combat system "mediocre", but it offers an array of weapons from daggers, axes, to combat knives. Yet, feedback suggests Starfield feels like a quintessential Bethesda game, boasting improved weapon animations and livelier NPC nightlife.

Highlight experiences from the "super early access" include a 10-minute journey to a planet's edge and a 40-minute stint in a training location. It's essential to note that some aspects might only pertain to early game versions.

Starfield is slated for a September 6 release, with premium edition buyers gaining access on September 1.
