The Witcher Games Updated with Support for M1 and M2 Chips, macOS Ventura

CD Projekt RED has released significant updates for 'The Witcher' and 'The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings', now fully optimized for Apple's M1 and M2 chips and the macOS Ventura. This brings a new level of performance and visual fidelity to these beloved games on Mac platforms.

Both games are now available for purchase on the App Store, Steam, and GOG, providing players with an enhanced gaming experience. However, support for older macOS versions, including OS X 10.7.5, OS X 10.8.2, and macOS 10.15, has been discontinued. This means that macOS 11.0 is now the minimum requirement to run these updated games.

Players who prefer the older versions should disable automatic updates to maintain access. CD Projekt RED has advised that reinstalling deleted games on any OS will only result in the latest version being available.
