Todd Howard Announces New Update and "Shattered Space" Expansion for Starfield

In a recent Kinda Funny Gamecast interview primarily about Fallout, Todd Howard from Bethesda revealed significant upcoming content for Starfield. A major update is expected to hit the Steam beta branch soon, enhancing shipbuilding mechanics significantly. Additionally, the first story expansion, "Shattered Space," is slated for release this fall.

Howard also discussed the feedback received post-Starfield launch, acknowledging that exploration in the game differs from that in Elder Scrolls or Fallout due to its space setting. He mentioned new display modes, including high frame rate options on consoles, that are being added.

According to Howard, the Starfield Creation Kit, the game's modding tools, has already been delivered to some creators, with more details to be shared by Bethesda soon.
